It took me over 6 years to finish these. How they resisted! I am thinking how I closed them, one by one. The first one – I don’t even remember how, but it was the proof that it was possible. The second taught me that if there is one angle, one element I like, perhaps it is worth keeping the whole sculpture, rather than destroying it. The third surprised me in the morning when I suddenly saw I had finished it the previous night. The fourth and the fifth were finished on the same day – twins. The sixth was the longest struggle. I was able to finish it when I saw I kept putting it together the same way. The seventh is the most suggestive of something – some people saw a little dragon in it – but at that point it was okay with me.
