Drawing

This ongoing series of drawings is made with colored pencils—a material that brings me back to my childhood and allows me to be playful, absurd, even silly. Like my sculptures, the drawings start with geometry. I work quickly to preserve their fresh and ridiculous quality, leaving areas of white to give them air and the open tenderness of an unexpected, tentative image.
